I started off my career as an article clerk at an auditing firm, where I also spent a couple of years as audit manager.
After that I spent some time as a Cost Engineer for mettalurgical engineering projects where I was sourced to start as Financial Manager at an engineering entity in 2005.
For the past 20 years I worked as a Financial Manager in the engineering and manufacturing space (manufacturing for the building and automotive industries)
Around 2015 I also started my own accounting consultancy providing accounting, tax, compliance, payroll and financial management services for small to medium sized entities.

My education:
My education is mainly in finance with some diversity as follows:
I have a BCompt degree obtained in 1999 and is a Professional Accountant registered at SAIPA with an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA.
Apart from that I also qualified as a Certified Cost Consulting in the field of Cost Engineering, a qualification that focusses on costing/budgeting and estimating in the projects environment.
